How to Book

This page contains all information on how to make a booking with Roudolf. Please read it in full before replying and send us all relevant information and pictures in one email so we can efficiently deal with your inquiry. Thank you!

WAITING LIST

Normally, Roudolf is booked around two months in advance.

With your reply, please list which month you would like your first appointment to be and specify if you prefer a weekday or weekend, and we will do our best to book you.

TATTOO

Please specify the area you wish to be tattooed in and attach clear photos of the area in natural daylight, preferably taken by someone else.

Roudolf works in various ways with designing your tattoo – to allow him to create a piece that is right for you, please include as many following as possible –

1. Take a screenshot of 3 or more pieces of Roudolf’s work you really like. This will give him a rough idea of the direction I have to take with your project.

2. Choose a theme to work with, for example, mythology—Greek/Norse, etc., nature, nautical, Egyptian, Japanese, underwater, religion, horror, life, death, etc.

3. Roudolf often includes women’s faces, animals, skulls, or hands in his designs, so please let us know if you want any of these elements.

4. If there is anything that you would not like to be included in your design, please also specify. For example, nudity, religious elements, etc.

If you have a more in-depth idea, please also feel free to explain, but also bear in mind that Roudolf will require some design freedom. Roudolf wouldn’t and does not copy any other tattoo. Your design will be made from scratch based on your idea and adjusted to the body part you asked to be tattooed.

Roudolf does have many designs based on different themes, so if you are not totally sure of what to get, please let us know which body part you would like to get tattooed, and we can send some examples.

COVER-UPS

Cover-ups are a bit harder with this style because it is transparent and uses a lot of skin gaps, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. Please attach photos of the tattoo you would like to cover.

COST

Roudolf charges 750 per full day. Most of the designs require 2+ days to be completed and Roudolf prefers to work on consecutive day appointments because this allows him to get more work done. If, for any reason, you cannot commit to 2 consecutive days and would prefer the sessions separately, please let us know, and we accommodate your needs. Please be aware that full sleeves, back and torso pieces will take more sessions to complete depending on your size and the design.  

For example; 

Arm Sleeve   - 7 sessions 

Chest Piece  - 3 sessions

Leg Sleeve    -  10-12 sessions

Full Back     - 7-10 sessions 

DEPOSIT

We require a £200 deposit per day to secure your appointment, which will be taken off of the final cost of the tattoo. Deposits must be paid by bank transfer which will be sent to you in order to pay your deposit. 

In the event you cancel the appointment, the deposit is completely non-refundable, although it is transferable onto a new date should you decide to rearrange, so long as there is at least 3 days prior notice. It is possible that the chosen date may need to be changed due to the following reasons – travel, conventions, or even illness or personal issues ( not often, but it happens). If this event ever unfolds, we would offer the first available date I have to move your appointment to, and the deposit would be, of course, carried over to that appointment.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Once you book your appointment, Roudolf will prepare a draft, which will be sent to you a day before the appointment. If you require any changes, they will be done, and Roudolf will meet you with the new design on the day. Please remember that if you need even more changes on the day, Roudolf will be happy to make them. However, that will count as tattoo time, so we may not be able to finish as much of the tattoo in the day, meaning a further half session may be required in order to complete the project. Once everyone is happy with the design, the perfect size which will fit your body perfectly will be found, and then the session will start.
